HDPE (polyethylene) gratings are preferred where corrosion resistance, hygiene and impact durability matter more than the weight and rust risk of steel.

Where HDPE Gratings Are Used

NA-ME HDPE gratings serve drainage channels, walkways and wash-down areas in food processing plants, beverage facilities, dairies and cold storage rooms, where non-rusting and easy-to-clean surfaces are required. They are also selected for coastal and marine structures, water and wastewater treatment plants, chemical dosing areas and pool surrounds.

Steel-Reinforced Channel Gratings

For trench and channel applications with vehicle transit, steel-reinforced HDPE gratings combine the corrosion resistance of polyethylene with additional load capacity. The load class must be confirmed against the traffic requirements of the project.

Selection and Technical Review

Grating span, support details, load class, operating temperature and chemical exposure should be confirmed for each application. Share your project details with the NA-ME engineering team for a suitable HDPE grating configuration; production takes place at our facilities in Ankara, Turkiye.
