Project Support for FRP Poles
From equipment interfaces and cable entries to base details and colour, the enquiry is structured around the details that determine the right pole.
Scope of Project Review
The enquiry should establish the intended application, site conditions, required pole configuration, mounted equipment, installation interfaces, document requirements and commercial boundaries. Missing design inputs should be identified rather than replaced with assumptions.
Pole and Installation Interfaces
Where relevant, provide flange or base details, bracket geometry, access-door or opening requirements, cable entries, foundation concept and installation constraints. Packaging and delivery requirements may also be stated for quotation. None of these items is a standard inclusion unless the written quotation confirms it.
Documents and Information to Provide
- site plan, installation location and intended application;
- project design criteria and environmental-exposure information;
- equipment datasheets, positions, loads and bracket drawings;
- cable, access-opening, base and foundation-interface details;
- applicable project requirements and requested document list;
- quantity, programme and delivery destination; and
- responsibility boundaries for interfaces controlled by other parties.
Quotation and Project Coordination
The enquiry and quotation should identify the proposed product reference, included and excluded scope, interfaces, required documents, responsibilities and any packaging or delivery requirements. Design, consultancy, installation and export packaging must not be assumed unless expressly confirmed.
