FRP Composite Pole Applications

FRP composite poles can be selected for infrastructure and industrial projects where corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, low maintenance and manageable installation weight are important.

FRP Pole Application Areas

The final pole configuration must be engineered for the project location, mounting height, wind region, equipment loads, connection details and foundation interface.

Lighting and Area Illumination

Composite poles can support lighting systems in roads, parks, industrial facilities, campuses and coastal locations. Luminaire weight, bracket geometry, projected wind area and maintenance access must be included in the structural assessment.

Security, Camera and Communication Equipment

Project-specific poles may carry CCTV cameras, warning devices, antennas or lightweight communication equipment. Cable routing, access openings and equipment interfaces should be defined before production.

Coastal and Corrosive Environments

FRP material is useful in humid, saline and selected chemical environments because it does not rust. Resin system, UV protection and metallic connection components must be specified for the actual exposure conditions.

Electrical and Industrial Service Areas

The electrically non-conductive nature of FRP can support safer material selection near electrical infrastructure. Earthing, clearances and the complete installation must still comply with applicable electrical and safety standards.

Information Required for Pole Selection

Please provide pole height, installation location, wind data, equipment type and weight, bracket dimensions, cable-entry requirements, foundation concept, colour and surface expectations. Early confirmation of these inputs reduces redesign and supports a reliable quotation, production and installation programme.
