System Scope and Components
A project discussion may include a photovoltaic panel, battery, controller or regulator, inverter where applicable, lighting equipment and pole interfaces. This is a review checklist, not a standard package. Inclusion, supply responsibility and compatibility for every item must be confirmed in the written quotation.
Site and Lighting Requirements
- project location, site plan and proposed lighting positions;
- required lighting duty, operating schedule and project criteria;
- available solar-resource information and known shading constraints;
- environmental conditions and site-access limitations;
- responsibility for lighting and power-component selection; and
- inspection, access and maintenance expectations.
Pole and Installation Interface
Provide the proposed pole position and height, panel and lighting-equipment data, bracket geometry, equipment locations, cable route, access requirements, base or foundation concept and applicable electrical-safety information. Review the pole, mounted components and foundation as one project interface.
Information Required for Project Review
- site and lighting-layout drawings;
- lighting duty and operating-profile requirements;
- available component datasheets and proposed responsibilities;
- pole, bracket, cable and foundation-interface information;
- applicable project requirements and requested documents;
- quantity, programme and delivery destination; and
- installation or interface constraints controlled by other parties.
