FRP Composite Poles
The FRP pole body does not rust and provides inherent electrical insulation, making it a strong material option for exposed outdoor installations.
What Is an FRP Composite Pole?
An FRP composite pole uses a resin-based matrix with fibre reinforcement. The material system, geometry and production details vary by product configuration and should be checked against the current product record for the enquiry.

Manufacturing and Product Configuration
The manufacturing route is reviewed together with the required geometry and interfaces. Any reinforcement, opening, bracket, base or finish detail must be confirmed for the selected configuration; it must not be assumed from an earlier project or a general product description.
Project-Selection Factors
Please provide the following information for a project-specific review:
- installation location and intended application;
- required pole height or the applicable project drawing;
- mounted equipment, bracket geometry and equipment interface details;
- site design criteria, including wind and environmental exposure information;
- cable route, cable-entry and access requirements;
- foundation or base-interface concept; and
- quantity, colour preference and required project documents.
Application Categories
FRP pole configurations may be considered for project categories such as:
- street, area and landscape lighting;
- security, camera and monitoring equipment;
- meteorological or other measurement equipment;
- industrial and infrastructure locations; and
- sites with defined environmental-exposure requirements.
An application category is not a statement of suitability. The complete installation must be reviewed against the project requirements.
Products, Documents and Technical Review
Review the product page for the current configuration, drawing and colour references. When requesting documents or a quotation, identify the project, intended use and required document list so that the enquiry can be scoped accurately.
